About the knowledge sessions
Do you ever wonder how other companies solve software problems? During our knowledge sessions you get to share and develop your challenges and knowledge with other IT professionals. These interactive Knowledge sessions are free and have a maximum duration of 2 hours.
The National Institute for the Software Industry organizes knowledge sessions for each of it's knowledge centres. There are five different knowledge centers, namely: Continuous Delivery, Cloud Software Engineering, Data Solutions, Software Product Management and Test Automation. As a result, each knowledge session is characterized by the expertise of the respective knowledge centre. You can submit your discussion points and topics in advance so they can be discussed and answered during the knowledge session!
Dr. Jan Vlietland and an experienced professional from NISI will work with you to deal with your software questions and answer them accordingly.

What will you learn?
1. Theory & Best practices
During the knowledge session, our expert will explain the theory and best practices for the to be discussed topic. What do you have to pay attention to? What are the pitfalls? And how do you implement the optimization into your own company? Our expert teaches you the essential knowledge and insight.
2. Hands-on-experience
During the knowledge session you will work on your own discussion topic(s), and you will discuss this with a colleagues from the field. Our expert provides support during this process.
3. Real world examples
We invite a guest speaker for the knowledge session, who will share experiences from practice and answer questions. This also gives you more insight into real world practice and that the methods that actually work.
4. Implementation
At the end you will learn to make a plan on how to implement the improvements into your organization and motivate stakeholders. NISI offers you support to achieve the implementation.
